The Red Fort (Lal Qila), a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi



Did you know that India has nearly 3,700 historic monuments, including 31 UNESCO world heritage sites. Among them is the Red Fort, the largest historical structure in Old Delhi and one of the most popular tourist destinations. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.

Wadi Rum: Jordan’s fourth UNESCO World Heritage site


Wadi Rum is Jordan’s fourth UNESCO World Heritage site, joining Petra, Quseir Amra, and Um er Rassas on the list of unique sites which are considered to be of outstanding universal value to humanity. Jordan would be campaigning for the Dead Sea to be named as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
